Our Drive to the Druze Village

It's hard to believe it's already Saturday. We started off our morning having breakfast with Edna's parents and her Aunt Inge and Yeshuah. After many long discussions about what we should do and how we should get to where we wanted to go we finally said we are two grown women 60+ and can figure it out ourselves. So off we went to the Druze Village. The drive took about half hour, Edna the driver and me the navigator.
We went in and out of stores, made several purchases and were smart enough to bargain and not believe them when they said their mother made it or it was made by the Druze. A lot of the stuff is made in China so we tried to be shrewd shoppers.
Shopping tired us out so it was time for lunch. Look what we had....yum, yum!!!
We spoke to a waiter about the Druze culture and he told us how to get to the Moharakah Church/ Monastery. It turned out Edna wanted to go there but didn't realize til we started driving that this was the place! This is the highest place on Mount Carmel so it is believed that God told Elijah to go there. Perfect timing as Passover just ended...
We walked up to the church rooftop and saw this magnificent view of Emmek Yisrael.
A selfie!!!!
